Mobility Infrastructure

The R.O.A.D. System comprises an AI powered system, which scans and collects data along the cycle roads. The device assesses and rates the quality of the micro-mobility infrastructure based on different parameters acquired through device sensors installed on bikes and data extracted from the Copernicus satellites.

In particular, the R.O.A.D System uses IoT sensors and a mobile app to identify the location, detect road anomalies, and monitor critical parameters affecting micro-mobility like light conditions, traffic, air dust and noise pollution.

Using 4G/5G technology, data is transferred to a cloud infrastructure that processes data and generates GIS datasets. At the same time, environmental data like air dust (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10) and air pollutants (O3, NO2, CO, CH2O, SO2, CH4) are gathered from the European satellite Sentinel 5P and combined with the data collected in the scans.

The analysed data is then shown in a dashboard that can be used to quickly and cheaply fix the roads.
