The Hague: how can MaaS enable better transportation services?
The Challenge
Marginalised communities often face significant transportation challenges, including limited access to affordable and flexible transportation options. This restricts their ability to access essential services, employment, and social activities.
The Municipality of the Hague is seeking a comprehensive platform that integrates various transportation services into a single, user-friendly solution. In essence, the city aims to implement a Mobility as a Service (MaaS) model. When developing the MaaS platform, co-creation with the target group is essential, requiring accessible venues and facilitation in the local language, Dutch. This challenge scheme operates as a contest.
The Municipality of Hague will host one pilot in collaboration with the target group members.
